Cane Shaker

This music shaker is handmade in Ghana from half small gourds that is easy to handle .  It contains pebbles or seeds and metal bottle tops which create a “tinkerbell” sound.  Percussive musicians can produce a variety of sounds depending on how they move the shaker so the contents hit the cane or the gourd.
